I wrote Anniversary Poem for Mimi in Russian and tried to translate into English. I hope you’ll understand

I’m again in subway…Round noisy and musty,
No more smiles on faces, dirty, tightness and stuffy…
Morning, evening…Life is like Groundhog Day.
In this difficult place only SHE can me save…

Wounds of love – it’s a very big pain,
Hurt in soul and a mess in my brain,
My heart is suffering, stress is doubling.
Only SHE can help me in this melancholic trouble…

Joy and light, I’m like having the wings,
No concerns in my heard, my life ready to sing,
Happy bell of my heart and my soul’s sunrise
Only SHE can prolong like always in all times…

What is drug “SHE”? – you can ask me. I’ll say:
“It’s a Gift from the Nature and God to our Earth –
Voice, which is strong and the same time is soft.
Incomparable tone of this voice nowadays
Only SHE has it – Diva, shining Star through the rain,
The best ever singer – Mariah Carey.”
Lyrics and melodies in her songs,
Rhythm of the music, melismas, subtons…
But the main are the strings of her musical soul,
Sound of which in each note of her talent and vocals.
When I’ m listening to her I dissolve in her music,
And begin to forget my bad mood or hard week.
And I feel like the waves of MC imagination
Bring me part of her energy, life, inspiration…

For me Mariah Carey is not just Diva, Voice or Talent.
She is my Muse! My daily walking is very gallant
With Mimi’s music in my ears. Wherever I will have the way
Her voice and lyrics are with me – tomorrow, yesterday, today…

I wish for lambs that Mimi’s talent
will please us very very long!
Bring me a joy and make me feel that
My heart and soul are very strong!
Let all these positive emotions
That I’ve got during years from her
Return a hundredfold like oceans
And bring my gratefulness to her!

Her birthday is a chance to say
“You are my treasure, brightest star!
I love you, Mimi, Happy Birthday!
I wish you happiness, God’s blessing and always be a person who you are…”
